A recurring falsity is doing the rounds over and over again on social media. The “UFO’s in Ancient paintings”
It is not a new theory and Jimmy Corsetti from the channel Bright Insight is by far not the first to regurgitate this falsity. This goes as far back as Erich von Däniken, Chariots of the gods of 1970. The book didn’t shatter conventional theories, if anything, it shattered truth, making a whole generation dumber, setting them on a wild goose chase followed by further propaganda on “aliens” and “ancient technology” which the “history” channel further exploited for many years and many seasons. A whole conman industry of historical deception and “mysteries for profit” rose around it.” Under the guise of “truth seekers” misinformation mostly ranging from “UFO’s”, “Aliens” and “Ancient Technology in history” is deliberately peddled as snake oil salesmen for likes and personal gain. At some point one wonders if this is deliberate psy op propaganda from governments using paid shills. It is anything but, being a “truth seeker”. There is never a “I was wrong video” or “correction” just regurgitation of the same falsities to new unsuspecting people doing humanity as a whole a huge disfavor. This article aims to correct at least one.

Hence the fetal position. I suspect this is also the reason for the fetal position of the Paracas mummies. The earth “births” and takes the death in an eternal creation phases and eternal cycles of rotating stars, time itself. Putting it on its side and ignoring the known iconography to present it as a rocket was ridiculous, but effective in fooling millions, by lack of a better explanation and mass publication of the lie.
Therefor we focus on the “UFO’s in art” subject which has been featured in the psy op show Ancient Aliens. It has since been picked up by UFO and Ancient Alien enthusiasts andfeatured in a Joe Rogan episode (JRE #1361 w/Cmdr. David Fravor & Jeremy Corbell) that was dedicated to this subject. Numerous other “websites” have taken of with articles on it as well and ofcourse the “history channel”, who has mass misled people via TV propaganda. Youtube has a fair selection of videos on the subject but not 1 that actualy debunks this and explains what is realy depicted in these paintings.

Just looking at the views this is a subject that has intrigued and fascinated a lot of people so in this article we are taking it apart and debunking this hard to kill false news once and for all stating what IS depicted.
The Argument
“People have stated that the objects in the ancient paintings are proof of UFO’s in ancient history of aliens and flying crafts with people in them.” and that “It goes back as far as the Sumerians” and other ancient cultures.” Bollocks, lets analyse it properly.
Two categories of depictions or rather, deceptions..
The depictions fall in two types of catogories. It is important to differentiate between type 1 and type 2 as they have different explanations, but by splitting them in their specific types they are more recognizable, for example in paintings that are not specifically given as example here. I will see if the article can be updated with all the examples but the articles and videos in favour have done so allready.
Type 1
A often circular shaped object, with or without rays eminating from it. I will insert a Gallery of examples of this particular type paintings.
Sometimes these clouds have a hand sticking out, called the hand of god. which is a christian depiction of god. This idea came directly from ancient Egypt where the Aten, the sundisk, was depcited with rays with little hands.
Sometimes there is an eye in the cloud. (Eye of provenance) The eye of provenance is just a symbol of the all seeing eye, God. Also this was re-used from Egypt where the Eye of Ra the sungod, was its origin. Its not surprising that the dollar bill features an egyptian pyramid for such a reason.
Usualy its only a cloud, or cloud with rays. What is however depicted in this instance is what is depicted below. A holepunch cloud or a could with the sun behind it. This light through darkness moment has allways been a magic moment, when the sun shines through the cloud shining its rays on the earth. This was the classic depiction / image of “God” in ancient art and if this is shown, it immediately becomes clear that this is what was painted in these instances.
Type 2
Type 2 is a different type usualy with a figure in it or more figures in it as well. This type can be:
a. Personified constellations as gods, mostly the central skygod and his son (adam/Jesus) or “twin sons” (Dioscuri), which Stijn van den Hoven identfied as Orion and Ophiucius.
b. Personified planetary bodies as gods, mostly the sun and the moon
Example of type 2a
These go back to sumerian times. The famous “Ufo” above the tree with 3 figures is in fact, ANU and his two sons ENLIL and ENKI. one of the earliest Skygod and two sons versions. Sometimes ANU is depicted alone. He is the precursor of ZEUS hence also the eagle shaped craft. which in turn is related to the symbolism of the sundisk of Egypt and Horus.
The twins later syncretized into the Dioscuri and the Ashvini horsetwins and are seen together with the skygod on triumphal arches and palaces across Europe. The sungod still had a chariot, a true “chariot of the gods” as it this was just how the sun used to be depicted, riding in chariot across the sky drawn by 4 horses. The chariot is the big dipper and the 4 horses related to the 4 directions of the compass. The twins are the opposites in the zodiac Ophiucius and Orion who swop presence in the sky as the sky turns. The triumphal arch chariot and twins is the modern version of the sumerian Cylinder seal. Not an UFO. Just a personified central skygod and two constellations.
Example of type 2b
A wall mural, or fresco, from 1350, “The Crucifixion,” artist unknown, in the Visoki Decani Monestary in Kosovo, Serbia. Two odd-looking objects with “pilots” can be seen in the sky on both sides of Jesus.
This one is also explainable. In greek and roman times planetary bodies were also personified, you had SOL for the sungod and LUNA for the moon for example. What is depicted here are these personified versions of the sun and the moon, planetary bodies. Below is Helios (the sun/skugod) riding on his chariot through the sky again depicted with his two constellation sons. Selene the moongodess drives her chariot in a similar way as personifications of planetary bodies moving through the sky.
